Jimmy Kimmel has been married twice, his first being to fashion designer and actress Gina Maddy from 1988 to 2002, who he had met when she was a communications and journalism student at Arizona State University.

The pair share two children, namely Katherine and Kevin Kimmel, but divorced in 2002. Jimmy went on to date stand-up comedian and actress Sarah Silverman until March 2009 before starting a relationship with his now-wife Molly McNearney.

Molly McNearney is a co-head writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and is the mother to two of Jimmy’s other children Jane and ‘Billy’ Kimmel - the latter of which was born with a rare congenital heart condition called tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia.

‘Billy’ Kimmel underwent heart surgery at three days of age, and following his birth, Jimmy raised awareness of his son’s condition by bringing on Olympic snowboarder Shaun White (who also suffers from TOF) and a cardiac surgeon as his guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
