Eamonn Holmes and wife Ruth Lansford both complimented Josie Gibson whilst appearing to snub This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby

Over the past few weeks the Irish broadcaster has been one of Phillip Schofield's biggest critics, branding the former This Morning host as a ’liar’. Now it seems Eamon is turning his sights on Holly after saying she has a 'big mouth' the GB news presenter spoke about Holly's return to the show saying "You think she's got a big mouth? She won't be using it today."

If that wasn't bad enough Eamonn stuck the knife in further by praising temporary host Josie and gushing over her accent. Speaking on his news show Eamonn described the former Big Brother winner as the ‘star of the show’.

He said “The star of the show yesterday for me was Josie Gibson, it's lovely to hear a West Country accent, isn't it?” Co-host Isabel Webster agreed with him describing Josie’s Bristolian accent as “so warm”

Loose Women host and Eamonn’s wife Ruth Langsford also complemented Josie. During the This Morning show when the presenters ask Loose Women what the ladies are discussing today Ruth commented on Josie’s dress and that they were both wearing green.

Ruth said  "We've got the green memo today Josie” adding “You look great!" whilst not even acknowledging Holly.

This comes after the awkward exchange between Ruth and Holly during Monday’s handover from This Morning to Loose Women.

Eamonn and co-presenter Isabel got themselves into a bit of hot water after being caught off-guard during their breakfast show. A technical fault accidentally broadcast their conversation live on-air. The hosts were seen looking relaxed and chatting to each other with Eamonn's ear piece hanging out.

Isabel was heard saying ‘I’m a bitch’ and ‘if only they knew’ with Eamonn agreeing if only they knew. Isabel then said she was a “pussycat”.

Unaware they were live and speaking to his co-host, Eamonn said “Now, how the f**k do you get home today?”

Isabel appeared to answer him but her microphone had been quickly switched off then after a few seconds the pair realised they were back on and continued with the show.
