Live on today’s GB News Eamonn explained that Holly Willoughby is set to return to present This Morning today after a two week break following the departure of Philip.

Eamonn said “[Phillip] admitted to having an affair with a younger male colleague and then continued to tell lots of lies.”

His co-anchor Isabel Webster interjected that the relationship was “Ill-advised but not illegal.”

Eamonn continued “Yeah but then lots of things he’s said which can be - were not supposed to criticise in case he harms himself but there you go he still thinks he can get on and tell lies - lies lies lies lies, as does his boss.”

Showbiz reporter Ellie Phillips also spoke on the show during the discussion explaining that the situation could push ‘someone to certain extremes’.

Eamonn who has publicly spoken out about Phillip since the scandal broke said “Well he said in his 40 years of broadcasting he made one mistake he had one kiss that he shouldn’t have had.”

“I just put it to anybody listening or watching out there - if you have kissed PS let us know let us know today we will see if that figure one grows to the figure where I believe it is properly at.”
