Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox and Liam Payne with girlfriend Kate Cassidy. The list of celebrities who’ve dressed up as Pamela Anderson [and ex-husband Tommy Lee] goes on and on.

And that’s without mentioning the likes of Lily James who have depicted the Baywatch actress on TV.

It’s easy to see why Pamela, now 55, felt it was finally time for her to tell her ‘real story’ herself - as she’s set to release a Netflix documentary in 2023 about her life.

The film, titled 'Pamela: A Love Story', is set to take viewers on a journey from her early days growing up in Canada to becoming a celebrity icon in Hollywood.

It will also tell her version of event surrounding her marriage to Tommy Lee in the 1990s

On Netflix’s official companion site Tudum, Pamela said: “When you’re not looking for love, it finds you. And I guess I’m easy to find.

“I was very hesitant, but looking back, I feel empowered.”

Some topics the documentary may touch upon are how she became a power force through her role as Casey Jean Parker along with David Hasselhoff in Baywatch.

It will also surely look at Pamela’s story from the perspective of her troubled childhood when she was sexually abused - a difficult subject she has spoken about in more recent years.

The actress turned model has been unlucky in finding love in her life with six marriages to five different men all ending in divorce. Given the title of the documentary, this will likely be a central focus of the film.

To promote the release of the show, Pamela posted an image on Instagram with a note that read: “My life, a thousand imperfections, a million misperceptions, wicked, wild and lost, nothing to live up to, I can only surprise you, not a victim, but a survivor. And alive to tell the real story.”'

The documentary is set for a release on Netflix on January 31, 2023.
