An invite to spend Christmas with the Royals would have been unobtainable for Sarah Ferguson a few years ago, but it seems times have changed. This is mainly because Sarah appears to have found an ally in the Queen Consort. The pair are said to have bonded due to their shared love of horses.

Sarah Ferguson’s reappearance on the Royal scene might have a lot to do with the passing of Prince Philip who was not a fan of the Duchess of York. For many years, Prince Andrew and his daughters would attend the Christmas Royal celebrations without his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

This year, Sarah Ferguson was reportedly not only invited for Christmas lunch with the Royals but also for the following day’s shoot. She is also set to be a grandmother again this year as her youngest daughter Princess Eugeine recently announced that she is pregnant again. When Eugenie announced her pregnancy on Instagram, Sarah Ferguson replied:”Granny heaven,” followed by a heart emoji.

Sarah Ferguson is clearly a devoted grandmother and mother and often shares photos of her children on social media. She shared a photograph of her grandson August recently and said: “You will be sharing puddles, Augie! Superb news, Granny heaven…So deeply grateful.”

In recent years, Sarah Ferguson has also embarked on a new career as a novelist and revealed that she wrote her novel Her Heart for a Compass during the pandemic. “My English teachers thought I’d amount to nothing, but this has taught me, at my age, to believe in myself,” she said.

For many years, Sarah Ferguson did not have the self-confidence that she has today. Following her divorce from Prince Andrew in 1996, she struggled with her body image.

Today, Sarah Ferguson seems to be a much more confident person. She recently spoke at the funeral of Lisa Marie Presley. The pair were very close and Sarah recently gave a moving speech at her memorial in Memphis.
