As news is emerging regarding Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Doria Ragland’s reportedly ‘near catastrophic car crash,’ according to a spokesperson for the couple, numerous traffic violations occurred during the incident. According to the BBC, the statement revealed that “Traffic violations during the chase include driving while on the phone, driving on the pavement, running a red light and driving while photography," they say. The spokesperson also said: “Those involved were confronted by uniformed police multiple times but they sped off to continue their pursuit."

At the time of writing, it has been reported that Buckingham Palace will not be issuing a statement on the alleged car chase involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.

According to Sky News, “Omid Scobie, who wrote the book, ‘Finding Freedom’ about Harry and Meghan, has tweeted to say a source has said the Sussexes and Ms Ragland are ‘understandably shaken but thankful everyone’s safe.” 

Sky News goes on to say that “Pictures have appeared on social media have shown Harry, Meghan and her mother Doria Ragland, in a taxi.

The couple are believed to have been staying with friends in New York at a private residence and did not want to ‘compromise the security of their friend’s home.'
