Who is Evan Winiker? Lana Del Rey announces engagement to talent agency manager

There will be no ‘summertime sadness’ for singer Lana Del Rey as she announces her engagement to her short-term partner Evan Winiker.

The 37-year-old songstress first debuted her engagement ring at the start of March when she attended the Billboard Women in Music Awards where she was honoured with the Visionary Award.

Reportedly entering the relationship a few months ago, Lana and Evan have kept quite private with the couple only being spotted in public a select few times including when they attended a chilli cook-off in Malibu last September with friends and at dinner in California earlier this month.

The engagement news comes as Lana Del Rey’s recently released ninth studio album ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ tops the midweek UK charts.

As Lana Del Rey looks to have her sixth UK chart top spot and prepares to wed Evan, PeopleWorld takes a look at who her new fiancé is:

Evan Winiker was born in New York, much like Lana who was born and raised in northern New York, on 22 December 1982, making him 40-years-old at time of writing.

Evan also works in the entertainment industry like his new fiancée as a managing partner at Range Media Partners where he joined in March 2021.

The company was launched in September 2020 by a group of executives from agencies including CAA and WME, expanding with Evan’s clients MAX, Daya and Walk off the Earth.

In addition to Evan's impressive managing resume where he previously worked at Full Stop Management and Brandon Creed’s Creed Co, he is also a musician having performed as part of the band Steel Train with Jack Antonoff. 

Jack frequently works with Lana and helped produce her most recent album ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’.

Alongside Jack, Evan and the band toured with the likes of The Fray, Tegan & Sara and Ben Folds to name a few.
