Beyoncé adds fourth London date to Renaissance World Tour as demand for tickets surges - how to get them

Although Beyoncé has urged fans to ‘listen’ to her music over the years, the record-breaking Grammy Award winner is listening to her BeyHive as she extends her time in the UK during her Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé has added a fourth date in London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as she returns to the global stage with her first worldwide tour in seven years.

The ‘Break My Soul’ singer originally was supposed to perform six UK dates between 17 May and 2 June, but has added a 'further extension' with a performance on Sunday, 4 June, 2023.

Fans were ecstatic to hear about another date being added after there were worries building surrounding whether they would be able to get their hands on tickets after Ticketmaster let down fans for Taylor Swift’s Era Tour pre-sale.

Tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance UK concerts went on pre-sale last week and similar problems arose as O2 priority sites crashed and kicked people out of queues that built up to 400,000+.

The US Senate even got involved and warned Ticketmaster and other Live Nation Entertainment sites ahead of Beyoncé's ticket releases as to avoid another fiasco, after 26 fans sued the website for fraud when trying to buy tickets for Taylor Swift.

And while the ticket selling site has seemingly held up more than during Swifties sale, fans are still annoyed online.

As Ticketmaster announced the extra date for Beyoncé on Twitter, fans replied, ‘It’s f***ing me right off. Queuing for an hour, two new shows added and I’m STILL 250k in the queue!!’ as well as, ‘explain how I got through for June 3 and it kept giving me an error every time I searched for tickets, and now it’s just kicked me out???’.

When clicking Ticketmaster’s link on Twitter to purchase tickets, it says one can join the queue, therefore, some tickets are still available for Beyoncé's now seven UK dates, but problems are arising with wait times and dates that you can buy.

Fans have been experiencing wait times up to over an hour behind queues over half a million since tickets went live at 10am this morning [7 February].

A fan tweeted: "How did I select Monday 29th May for Beyoncé. WAIT IN THE QUEUE FOR OVER AN HOUR FROM 9:30!… PAY FOR A TICKET (THINKING IT WAS MONDAY!) AND IT SAYS IM GOING ON SATURDAY!!SATURDAY WASN’T even there at the time I clicked! It only had the option of Monday & Tuesday."

With Tottenham Hotspur stadium's capacity at 62,850 and with four London dates now on Beyoncé's calendar, tickets are selling quickly with the 29 May having low availability just two hours in, in addition to Sunderland and Edinburgh showing low levels of availability.

However, at time of writing, according to Ticketmaster's overview page for Beyoncé's UK dates, there is still a chance to get tickets for Cardiff and other London dates.
