Poor Roman Kemp. It’s not the best of week’s for the radio presenter, first he accidentally eats a special Crème Egg that could’ve been worth up to £10,000 and now an awkward interview with Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves has gone viral.

The Capital Breakfast show host interviewed the actor on his latest John Wick Chapter 4 film but it turned into a cringeworthy blunder as Roman quizzed Keanu on random British culture. In one of the questions the radio host asks who would win a fight, his character John Wick or fitness coach Joe Wicks. The actor looked as though he had absolutely no idea what was going on and had probably never heard of Joe Wicks - sorry Joe.

The interview continued with a slew of ridiculous questions around the ‘Wicks’ theme leaving fans to say that it was “the most awkward interview of all time!?”. Which got us thinking about all the other awkward celebrity interviews of all time.

Hugh Grant and Ashley Graham

Just a few weeks ago we were left squirming whilst watching Ashley interview Hugh at the Oscars red carpet. The actor looked bored as he rolled his eyes and gave the plus-size model turned presenter absolutely nothing. When asked who he was looking forward to seeing most he replied “no-one”, awkward.

Dakota Johnson and Ellen DeGeneres

Live on the Ellen DeGeneres show the veteran talk show host wished the actress a ‘Happy Birthday’ and asked “how was the party I wasn’t invited.”  Dakota explained how that was in fact a lie after she claimed Ellen had previously given her a lot of “s***” for not inviting her to her birthday party the previous year. The awkwardness continued as the actress said: “I didn't even know you liked me.”

Robert Downey Jr and Krishnan Guru-Murthy

Many actors have walked out of interviews after being asked inappropriate questions but it was the interview where Channel 4 reporter Krishnan asked the Iron Man actor if he was ‘free of all that’ referring to the actor's previous battle with alcohol and drug addiction. A shocked Robert said: "I'm sorry...what are we doing?...Bye" as he got up and walked out.

At the time of the interview Robert had been clean and sober for over 12 years so was completely irrelevant.

Scarlett Johansson and Jerry Penacoli

Speaking of inappropriate questions when promoting the Avengers film Scarlett who played Black Widow was asked about her underwear. Jerry asked because of the skin-tight outfit if she was able to wear underwear. The actress shot down the interviewer by “What is going on? Since when did people start asking each other in interviews about their underwear!?" When he asked if she thought the question was inappropriate the actress looked shocked and disgusted.

Samuel L Jackson and Sam Rubin

In a live interview entertainment reporter Sam Rubin accidentally mixed up the actor with Laurence Fishburne. Sam asked if the actor had received a lot of reaction from the ‘Super Bowl commercial’ Samuel looked confused and reacted in the best way by joking “we don’t all look the same.” The interviewer hung his head in shame as he apologised for making such a huge and cringeworthy mistake.
