While Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham have been playing happy families since their wedding in April last year, sharing cooking videos and snaps of holidays spent together, texts in court documents have revealed that Nicola was not a happy bride in the lead-up to her big day and as a result the Peltz's are allegedly facing a court battle with the wedding planners.

Nicola went through three planning firms before the Palm Beach wedding to try and meet the Bates Motel actress’ expectations, with one wedding planner even being brought to tears.

Reports have highlighted Nicola's blunt texts give an insight into her ‘bridezilla’ demands surrounding the VIP guest list and coordinations, with one reading ‘I’m tired of catching’ the planner’s ‘repeated mistakes’.

The ‘leaked’ messages came as Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson Peltz reportedly sued one of the planners for not returning a $159,000 deposit after they were fired, and is said to have labelled the whole planning process as a ‘sh**show’.

Initially, Nicola chose to work with celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey who put together Hollywood icon’s Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ wedding in 2000, but then ended their partnership by mutual agreement due to overcrowded schedules.

As a result, the Peltz’ reached out to Nicole Braghin and her partner Arianna Grijalba, when the former partnership fell through, just six weeks before the ceremony.

While six weeks is a tight turnaround as it is for a wedding, the pair were reported to have had to work 17-hour days to try and get the event sorted and meet the family’s demands, but even then things went quickly downhill.

Nicole and Arianna are then said to have faced a lawsuit from Nelson Peltz in Miami, after his daughter, the ‘world-famous actress’, had to sever ties just nine days into the partnership as the professional party organisers could not ‘handle the guest list’ which included Gordon Ramsay, Eva Longoria and Mel B, to name a few.

However, last week the pair hit back at Mr Peltz reportedly labelling him a ‘bully billionaire’ and filed a counterclaim in a Miami court for ‘interference’ with a business deal and breach of contract.

Their counter-file not only claimed that Nicola allegedly spent £85,000 on her hair to which her mother asked the planners not to mention the price, as her husband ‘would kill her and be so mad’, in addition to the family not wanting Victoria Beckham to find out about the ‘mistakes’ in the planning.

Ms Braghin and Grijalba also sued Nicola’s mother Claudia, wedding designer Rishi Patel for damages of at least £41,000, and the ‘bridezilla’ herself, Nicola Peltz.

While the texts show that there was chaos in organising the wedding party itself, this was not the first instance in which Nicola’s ‘bridezilla’ antics were brought to light as reports suggested an ongoing feud between the Transformers actress and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.

There have been rumours since the wedding last year that Victoria Beckham also failed to see eye-to-eye with her incoming daughter-in-law.

The prickly dynamic rumours were said to begin when Nicola chose to wear a Valentino wedding dress instead of a design by Posh Spice, and carried on to a frostiness on social media between the two ‘Mrs Beckham’s’.

Some reports suggested that the pair ‘did not like one another’ and would avoid talking, whilst others found out the tension was 'more like a full-blown family feud' and the two leading ladies were 'collateral damage'.

However, the bride has since refuted claims about the wedding dress, saying she was hurt when she read stories about her ‘never planning’ on wearing a dress by her mother-in-law when realistically ‘Victoria called [Nicola’s Mum] and said her atelier couldn’t make it.’
