Is Kim Kardashian becoming the new Kris Jenner ‘momager’ to daughter North West after viral TikToks

Kris Jenner is not only the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family but also the ultimate ‘momager’ after helping her daughters secure their large platforms with two even reaching billionaire status’.

Before helping Kim and her sisters cement their place in popular culture, Kris managed her former spouse Caitlyn Jenner, but really stepped into the role of ‘momager’ following Kim’s leaked sex tape.

Kris initially said: “When I first heard about Kim’s tape, as her mother, I wanted to kill her, but as her manager, I knew that I had a job to do,” before setting up Kim’s following appearances including Playboy shoots or interviews.

As Kim’s career took shape and she started her own family with now former husband Kanye West, sharing four children, Kim’s priorities did not necessarily shift but split between family and business magnate.

Kim continued her work with fashion attending shows and releasing garments with SKIMS, as seen on The Kardashians show, but as times went on, Kim’s eldest daughter North West started to attend in addition to Kim and her momager.

During The Kardashians season two finale, nine-year-old North West was seen getting ready and going to Paris Fashion Week, with fans criticising how Kim was actively pushing her young daughter into the public eye - as seen by North holding up a 'Stop' sign to photographers when she became irritated with paparazzi.

Kim explained her almost ‘momager-like’ actions: “I really wanted to bring North on this trip because I really enjoy what I do and I want my kids to grow up really loving what they do and finding their passion, and figuring out how to make a business out of that.”

Since then, North West has seemingly followed her passion for makeup and videos by building a substantial following (12.2 million) on TikTok with her account, Kim and North.

However, aforementioned, some fans have doubts about the amount of social media presence North has, and the control of her mother, due to some questionable videos being posted, including the most recent clip where North dresses up as her dad Kanye.

Although Kim has been wanting her children to follow their passions and to make a career out of it, it begs the question, which is she prioritising - being a mum and protecting her kids or being a momager?
